A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a certain e-mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise stated, if you delete an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any misspelled address under the same domain name, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential in case you are running a company, for example. Since you may start receiving junk email messages, you can combine the catch-all option with anti-spam filtering software in order to receive only real emails in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

You’ll be able to configure a catch-all mailbox without difficulty if you’ve got a cloud website hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our custom Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet astonishingly user-friendly, and it will allow you to enable different features, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you’ve created will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each one of them you’ll find a mini "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will activate the feature, clicking on it again will deactivate it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will inform you if you’ve already got a different mailbox with this feature activated or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to create a catch-all email address with no more than a click if you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated server with us and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you create using any domain hosted in the account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to activate this feature will be to click on that icon. In the same way you’ll be able to remove the feature, in case you don’t need it any longer. Our system will inform you if you are trying to enable a second catch-all mailbox for a particular domain name or in case there is activated email forwarding, but it’ll never deactivate or change any feature automatically and without your approval.
